Software Engineer

• You will contribute to designing and implementing scalable, secure, and resilient software solutions.
• You will work with tech leads to deliver team priorities aligned with our broader strategy.
• You will collaborate with engineering teams across bp to help adapt and integrate their solutions with the Yalla stack.
• You will write high-quality, production-ready code in languages such as C#, Python, Java, or Go, and learn new technologies when needed.
• You will work with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build solutions that make effective use of the Yalla stack.
• You will implement and deliver platform changes in a timely and reliable manner.
• You will follow and uphold our software engineering standards and best practices.
• You will develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, repeatable releases.
• You will support configuration and release processes to help ensure smooth, predictable deployments.
• You will share knowledge with teammates, support other engineers when appropriate, and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
• You will design, implement, and optimize relational databases and data models to support application needs.
• You will support live services by improving monitoring and reliability, and responding to incidents when required.
• You will participate in system design discussions, offering input and feedback with guidance from senior engineers.
• You will apply secure coding practices and follow our information security policies and standards.
• You will contribute to delivery planning, progress tracking, and execution of digital initiatives within your team.

• Were looking for experience working as a Software Engineer on production systems, with growing technical ownership of your work.
