Job description
We’re looking for an IT Technician to join our team at Bridgeway.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their IT career who enjoys solving problems and helping people. You’ll play an important role in keeping our systems running smoothly and supporting colleagues across the business with day-to-day IT needs.
As well as being given the chance to utilise your skills to work with other departments, spotting areas for improvement and implementing technology led solutions that enhance efficiency.

What you’ll be doing
- Providing day-to-day IT support to colleagues across the business
- Working with departments across the business to identify technology improvements
- Installing and configuring hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
- Supporting the smooth running of computer and telephony systems
- Investigating and resolving software and hardware issues
- Responding to system breakdowns and troubleshooting problems
- Carrying out planned maintenance and system upgrades
- Maintaining records of software licences
- Managing equipment stock, issue and replacement
- Checking equipment for electrical safety and ensuring systems operate correctly
Requirements
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration and utility
- Basic hardware knowledge
- Understanding of networking
- Familiarity with Active Directory
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems (particularly Windows 11)
- A proactive, problem solving mindset and willingness to learn
- Full UK manual driving licence
