Azure DevOps Engineer Consultant - Remote

We are seeking a hands-on Azure DevOps / Data Engineering Consultant to assess, improve, and implement changes within an existing Microsoft Azure environment.

The consultant will audit the current environment, identify issues and opportunities, recommend improvements, and personally implement the approved changes., * Audit existing Azure architecture, configuration, and deployment processes

• Configure and optimize Visual Studio integration with Azure/Azure DevOps
• Build, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD pipelines between Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Azure
• Automate application and job deployment through CI/CD pipelines
• Review source control, branching, build, release, and deployment processes
• Assess and improve Azure Databricks and data engineering workflows
• Review and optimize data pipelines, Databricks jobs, and related Azure services
• Identify security, performance, reliability, automation, and cost improvements
• Make recommendations and personally implement approved changes
• Troubleshoot Azure, DevOps, deployment, and data engineering issues
• Document the environment and changes made

• Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience
• Strong Azure DevOps and CI/CD experience
• Proven experience connecting Visual Studio * Azure DevOps * Azure for application/job development and deployment
• Experience building and managing automated build/release/deployment pipelines
• Strong Data Engineering and Azure Databricks experience
• Experience with Git/source control and branching strategies
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to clearly explain technical findings, recommendations, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Must be able to audit, recommend, configure, and implement solutions-not just provide consulting recommendations
