Pastoral Support Officer

This high achieving school celebrates excellent GCSE results and is consistently perform in the top 20% of schools nationally, and provides a strong and supportive pastoral support system., The successful Pastoral Support Officer will be responsible for responding to student queries and concerns, providing pastoral administrative support, updating behaviour records, issuing detentions and logging detention attendance. You will be liaising with parents and answering parent and student enquiries, updating student data and attendance records and providing support to the Pastoral teams.

• Be proficient in using SIMS, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Have experience supporting students in Years 7 to 11.
• Be able to supervise students as required and act as the first point of contact for student support matters.
• Be able to work as a key worker for designated students.
• Have experience liaising with parents, social workers, and other external professionals.
• Have previous experience working in a secondary school environment.
• Be reliable, professional, and well-organised.
• Be confident, with a strong personality and excellent communication skills.

Pay: £130.00-£160.00 per day
