Job description

We’re looking for a Mac Technical Specialist to support our clients both onsite and remotely. You’ll be the person who solves the problem in front of you and then makes sure it doesn’t come back. This is a hands-on support role with room to grow into deployment, automation, and AI enablement work.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide end-to-end technical support for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS systems, applications, and peripherals - onsite at client offices and remotely

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating with clear notes when a problem needs deeper engineering support

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Mac fleets, including imaging, application packaging, OS updates, and MDM enrollment

  • Support Adobe Creative Cloud environments and the workflows our design teams depend on daily

  • Maintain enterprise infrastructure at client sites: networking, Wi-Fi, printing, file services, identity, and endpoint security

  • Document every engagement cleanly in our ticketing system so the next person has what they need

  • Train and coach client teams on Mac fundamentals, best practices, and self-service troubleshooting

  • Help clients adopt AI tools responsibly - from setup and access management to practical, role-specific guidance

  • Stay current on Apple platform releases, management tooling, and emerging AI capabilities relevant to creative and corporate teams

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in technical support, IT, or a help desk role, ideally with a Mac-heavy user base

  • Strong working knowledge of Mac hardware, macOS, and common business and creative applications

  • Solid troubleshooting instincts - you can isolate a problem methodically instead of guessing

  • Familiarity with enterprise environments: networking fundamentals, directory services, VPN, and endpoint security

  • Clear, patient communication with non-technical users; you can explain a fix without making anyone feel foolish

  • Strong organization and time management; comfortable juggling several open tickets and client sites

  • Ability to work independently onsite and collaboratively with the team

Preferred

  • Experience with AI tools - ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, or similar - whether that’s using them in your own workflow, supporting them for end users, or scripting against an API. We use AI throughout our own operations and increasingly help clients do the same, so genuine curiosity here goes a long way.

  • Hands-on experience with Apple MDM platforms (Addigy, Jamf, Kandji, or Mosyle)

  • Experience working in a ticketing or PSA system (Freshdesk, Zendesk, ServiceNow, Autotask, or similar) - including SLA-driven queues, time entry, and writing resolution notes someone else can actually use

  • Familiarity with remote support and RMM tooling (Splashtop, TeamViewer, N-able, NinjaOne) and with IT documentation platforms (IT Glue, Hudu, Notion)

  • Prior experience at an MSP or in a multi-client environment, where you’re context-switching between organizations in a single day

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud administration and licensing

  • Scripting ability (Bash, Zsh, Python, or AppleScript) for automation and remediation

  • Microsoft 365 administration experience

  • Apple certifications (ACSP, ACMT) or equivalent practical experience, * Mac/iOS Support: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Customer support: 2 years (Preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in New York, NY 10001

Benefits & conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
