Implementation Technician

Renovotec is one of Europe’s leading providers of barcode scanning and rugged mobile computer equipment, supplying technology to many industry sectors - Logistics, Automotive, Food, Ports, Construction, etc. throughout the world. Customers include Coca-Cola, Eddie Stobart, Asda, Jaguar Landrover, AO.com, and JD Sports amongst many others. This is an expanding and dynamic sector, which changes as new technologies are developed., Due to a period of extended growth, we are currently recruiting for a full-time Implementation Technician to join our team, working on a flexible bases between various locations, customer, home and offices.

Your main responsibility in this role is to provide site based support to our customers for the implementation team. You will be responsible for assisting the customer in returning their site into operational use, surveying sites for future installations and supporting the implementation team with any project needs.

Every day will be a little different, but here are the things that will keep you busy from day to day:

· Attend site and perform hardware installations

· On site support calls to diagnose and resolve issues

· Support the Implementation team when required.

· Onsite training of subcontractors

· Maintain knowledge of customer IT Solutions

· Post Sales Support / Trouble shooting

· Make suggestions for continuous improvements to existing workflows/practices

· Provide customer support for any installation issues

Ideally the successful candidate will have had experience gained from a field engineering role ideally within an installation field. Here are some other things that will help make you a strong candidate:

· Strong all round Technical Skills and Knowledge

· Willingness to self-learn and embrace new technologies

· Good all round MS Office Skills

· Full UK Driving Licences

· Willingness to travel both within the UK and Abroad when required.

· Good Communications skills across various levels both internal and external

· Team player

· Time-management and organization skills

Nice to have, but not essential:

· Technical background working with technology to diagnose and repair issues
