Job description

This is a full-time, onsite, temp-to-hire opportunity offering the potential for long-term employment based on performance and business needs.

In this role, you will serve as an escalation resource for complex technical issues, provide advanced end-user support, and help drive continuous improvement across service desk operations. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting experience, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to support a wide range of enterprise technologies.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide timely, professional support for technical incidents, service requests, and end-user issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, network, and application problems
  • Serve as an escalation resource for advanced technical issues and support team members
  • Analyze recurring issues and contribute to root cause investigations and long-term solutions
  • Maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and support procedures
  • Support system upgrades, technology rollouts, and change management activities
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure efficient issue resolution and service delivery
  • Provide advanced technical support to executives and key business stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and enhanced user experiences
  • Participate in an on-call support rotation as needed

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in help desk, service desk, desktop support, technical support, or related IT roles
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across multiple technologies and systems
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and enterprise business applications
  • Knowledge of incident, request, problem, change, and knowledge management practices
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and recommend practical solutions
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively support both technical and non-technical users
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Experience with automation, workflow optimization, or process improvement initiatives is a plus

Education

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Continued technical training and professional development encouraged, * Help desk analysis: 4 years (Preferred)
