Security Estimator 142133

• Previous experience in a Security Estimator or similar low-voltage/security estimating role
• Strong ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and project specifications
• Solid technical background across:
• Access Control
• CCTV / Video Management Systems (VMS)
• Intrusion Detection Systems
• Ability to understand security system requirements and translate drawings/specifications into accurate project estimates
• Familiarity with commercial security system installation and overall system design
• Product-specific experience is not required; broader knowledge of security technologies and how the systems function is more important

Preferred Product Experience

• Access Control: AMAG, Genetec, S2, Lenel OnGuard, Open Options DNA Fusion, Continental
• VMS/CCTV: ExacqVision, Hanwha WAVE, Milestone, Genetec Omnicast, S2 NetVR, i-PRO, Salient, Axis
• Intrusion: DMP, Bosch, Honeywell

Ideal Candidate

• Comes from a strong commercial security / low-voltage background
• Has hands-on knowledge of access control, CCTV/VMS, and intrusion systems
• Can work independently reviewing plans and specifications
• Doesn’t necessarily need experience with their exact manufacturers as long as they understand comparable security solutions
• Experience with any of the company’s current platforms would be a strong plus
