Job description

  • Manage cross functional project teams though complex projects using widely accepted project methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile/LEAN, SDLC)
  • Motivate and direct team members to build collaborative project teams to conduct research and analysis to quantify business opportunities and issues and develop formal recommendations for presentation to management
  • Apply project management tools and methods to manage project scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, communication, resources and suppliers
  • Work with other PMO team members to integrate plans and coordinate execution for large cross-functional projects requiring multiple work-streams and sub-plans
  • Conduct cost-benefit Analysis for projects, validate cost and benefit assumptions with stakeholders, resource managers and process owners
  • Conduct written and oral project updates for senior management and business leaders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Military experience
  • Minimum of 5 years IT project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic relationships and lead customer focused projects across organizational boundaries
  • Excellent planning, organizational and execution skills Strong communication
    • oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated experience interacting & collaborating with business areas in gathering, documenting and developing business scope for projects
  • Results oriented, ability to meet and exceed objectives and handle multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Strong analytical and business problem solving skills

Benefits & conditions

A Hybrid schedule of both Remote and In-Office days is required. In office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with working hours targeting our core business hours of 9am-5pm EST., * At this time, Genworth will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.

National Range: $84,400 - $127,000

Disclaimer: This role is aligned to a national market-based pay range. Actual compensation will vary based on geographic location, experience, skills, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in a bonus incentive plan. Incentive compensation is based on individual and company performance and is not guaranteed.
