Data Analyst

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL databases and queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and management.
• Design and implement data models, ensuring robust database structures that support business needs.
• Create compelling dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting tools to visualize key metrics.
• Conduct requirements analysis to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using tools like Talend or custom scripts in Python, Bash, or VBA for data integration.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to analyze software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes related to data projects.
• Utilize data visualization techniques to communicate insights clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences.
• Engage in business analysis activities to identify opportunities for process improvements through data-driven solutions.
• Support the design of data warehouses and ensure proper query management for seamless access to information.
• Contribute to technical proficiency by staying updated on the latest analytics trends and tools such as R, Python, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and Linked Data.

• Proven experience with SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle, including query management and database design.
• Strong proficiency in data analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, R, Python, VBA, and ETL platforms such as Talend.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle analysis (SDLC) principles applied to data projects.
• Hands-on experience with dashboard development, reporting tools, and data visualization best practices.
• Familiarity with business intelligence concepts including linked data integration and analytics strategies.
• Ability to perform Excel data analysis combined with excellent analysis skills for requirements gathering and problem-solving.
• Understanding of database design principles and experience working with SQL queries across various platforms such as Bash (Unix shell) or VBA scripting environments.
• Strong project management skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively within an Agile framework.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams on business analysis and technical requirements.
