Insurance Software Project Manager (all genders)

• Management of IT projects for the implementation of software solutions in the (health) insurance industry and benefit administration
• Responsibility for project planning, management, and implementation using established project management methods (e.g., IPMA, PMI, or PRINCE2)
• Close collaboration with business departments to ensure requirements are implemented precisely as intended
• Management of interdisciplinary project teams and external service providers
• Identifying and managing risks, dependencies, and deviations from objectives
• Ensuring compliance with time, budget, and quality specifications, + Regular on-site presence at the Munich location for at least two to three days per week, particularly for team collaboration and during the onboarding phase.
• Stuttgart:
• You’ll primarily work remotely from your home.
• To facilitate cross-office collaboration, we meet once a month for two to three days at our headquarters in Munich to advance projects, share knowledge, and strengthen team cohesion.
• Client Projects:
• Depending on the project phase and client requirements, on-site visits to our clients may be necessary.
• Travel may increase, particularly during the implementation phase. Multi-day client assignments involving overnight stays are quite common.

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in (business) information technology, economics, health economics, or a comparable qualification
• At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in IT project management, ideally in the insurance or financial sector
• Proven project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
• Strong methodological expertise in traditional and agile project management approaches
• A strong understanding of business processes and regulatory requirements in the insurance or financial sector
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a structured approach to work
• Business-level German and very good English skills are a given
