Requirements

UP TO £60 PER HOUR (INSIDE IR35A skilled SC Cleared Software Engineer with strong Java and cloud development experience is required for an innovative organisation delivering cloud-based geospatial software solutions used in complex, data-driven environments.You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications within a collaborative Agile Scrum team. Working across the full software development lifecycle, you will contribute to the delivery of secure, high-quality software while supporting continuous improvement and best engineering practices.The role offers a hybrid working model based in Newcastle, with four days onsite and Fridays working remotely.KEY REQUIREMENTSActive SC ClearanceStrong commercial experience developing applications in JavaExperience building and deploying cloud-based servicesSolid understanding of unit testing and automated testing practicesExperience working within Agile Scrum delivery teamsDESIRABLE EXPERIENCEDevSecOps tools such as Tekton, ArgoCD, and SonarQubeKubernetes and/or Red Hat OpenShiftQuarkus frameworkFront-end development experience with AngularExperience working within highly regulated or security-conscious environmentsThis is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative engineering team developing modern cloud-native solutions while working with the latest technologies and Agile delivery practices.TPBN1_UKTJ
