IT Manager

• Partner with dispatch and operations to keep tech supporting scheduling, tracking, and customer communication
• Troubleshoot issues affecting drivers, dispatchers, terminals, and office staff
• Manage integrations between transportation, accounting, and customer-facing systems

IT Infrastructure & Support

• Manage computers, servers, networks, Wi-Fi, phone systems, and mobile devices
• Provide/coordinate tech support company-wide; manage accounts, permissions, and onboarding/offboarding
• Administer Microsoft 365 and maintain IT asset inventory

Cybersecurity & Data Protection

• Own and improve our cybersecurity program (firewalls, endpoint protection, MFA, email security)
• Monitor for threats and lead incident response
• Run employee cybersecurity/phishing training

Backup & Business Continuity

• Maintain and test backups; build disaster-recovery and continuity plans
• Keep dispatch and critical operations running through outages or disruptions

Vendors & Strategy

• Manage IT vendors, contracts, and budget
• Evaluate new technology and help shape long-term IT strategy

• 5+ years of progressive IT experience
• Experience in trucking, transportation, or logistics strongly preferred
• Experience with IBM iseries strongly preferred
• Familiarity with TMS, dispatch software, GPS/ELD systems
• Strong Microsoft 365/Windows environment knowledge
• Networking, firewall, VPN, and cybersecurity experience
• Vendor management experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to prioritize under pressure
• Excellent communication across drivers, office staff, and leadership
• Ability to meet the physical requirements needed for movement and installation of equipment
• Occasional travel between company facilities or terminals as needed

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, early morning start time (typical day ranges 8.5-10 hours)
• Must have flexibility outside of regular office hour on rare occasions to assist with operational emergencies.
• In-person, at our Bensenville Main Office terminal
• Reports to: President / Senior Management

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year, * 401(k)
