IT Manager

WayFinder seeks a personable and detail-oriented IT Manager to join our team. As an IT Manager, you’ll be focused on providing technical assistance to our team members in a fast-paced environment. IT Manager contribute to increased productivity by ensuring that WayFinder IT systems run efficiently., * Process time off requests and arrange coverage when necessary

• Plan workloads, allocate tasks, and monitor progress of IT Intern
• Devise work schedules and implement training benchmarks
• Educate and provide continuous training to IT team members
• Conduct performance reviews if requested by VP of Operations, * Identify, investigate, and resolve problems with computer software and hardware
• Field support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from team members with inquiries regarding software programming, connectivity, printing, and similar concerns
• Consult with team members to determine steps and procedures taken to identify and resolve the problem
• Oversee device management and assignment
• Apply knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems
• Guide team members through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructions
• Collaborate with other team members to research and resolve problems
• Collaborate with admins to explain errors and/or recommend modifications in programs
• Arrange service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products
• Maintain knowledge of technology innovations and trends
• Create “How To” documentation for IT processes
• Manage day-to-day user accounts, including passwords, permissions and onboarding/off-boarding
• Perform other related duties as assigned by VP of Operations

• Proficient with Microsoft 365 products and services
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn an array of computer hardware and software, * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in Information Technology or related field
• A blend of education and applied work experience may be considered

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
