Data Analyst

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to communicate key insights effectively.
• Design and implement data models and database structures utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and SQL databases to support analytics initiatives.
• Perform data extraction, transformation (ETL), and loading processes using tools like Talend, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and Python to ensure high-quality data availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements through analysis sessions, ensuring solutions align with business needs.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis using Excel data analysis techniques and other analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Support the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by analyzing requirements, designing solutions, testing, and deploying analytics applications within an Agile environment.
• Manage query optimization and report management tasks to ensure timely delivery of accurate insights.
• Engage in database design activities that enhance data integrity and accessibility for reporting purposes.
• Contribute to business intelligence initiatives by creating visualizations that facilitate strategic planning and operational improvements.

• Proven experience with SQL query management, database design, and data modeling in environments such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
• Strong proficiency in data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes using Talend or similar tools; familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Bash is a plus.
• Knowledge of SDLC practices combined with experience working within Agile project management frameworks.
• Expertise in analysis skills utilizing Excel data analysis techniques alongside business intelligence platforms for reporting purposes.
• Ability to perform requirements analysis effectively to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle analysis related to analytics projects is desirable.
