Willingham Creative is seeking an experienced Elementor / WordPress Designer & Developer based in the United States to join the team as an independent contractor. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional who can independently design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites while delivering exceptional user experiences and clean, responsive designs., * Design and develop custom WordPress websites using Elementor

• Create responsive layouts optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Implement website updates, enhancements, and maintenance requests
• Troubleshoot WordPress, theme, plugin, and layout issues
• Optimize website speed, performance, and user experience
• Ensure websites follow modern design, accessibility, and usability standards
• Collaborate with clients and project managers as needed
• Maintain project timelines and communicate progress effectively

The ideal candidate possesses both strong design skills and advanced WordPress development expertise, with a proven track record of building professional websites using Elementor., * Must be located in the United States

• Minimum 5 years of professional WordPress experience
• Minimum 5 years of Elementor experience
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles
• Advanced knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and site architecture
• Proficiency in custom CSS, HTML, and basic PHP troubleshooting
• Experience building custom websites from concept to launch
• Experience optimizing websites for performance, security, and mobile usability
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, * Experience with Beaver Builder or other WordPress page builders
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
• Experience with WooCommerce
• Familiarity with other popular WordPress plugins
• Experience working with marketing agencies and multiple client accounts
