Hardware Infrastructure

Job description

Perform server break/fix, hardware installation, replacement, upgrades, and decommissioning.
Troubleshoot server hardware failures and perform root-cause analysis.
Rack, cable, label, stage, and validate data center equipment.
Diagnose issues using IPMI and other diagnostic tools.
Troubleshoot Layer 1/2/3 networking issues.
Support Windows Server/WinPE environments; basic Linux knowledge preferred.
Complete tickets within established SLA/KPI requirements.
Support new deployments and real-time issue resolution.

Requirements

5-7 years of Data Center Technician experience
Strong server hardware break/fix experience - mandatory
CompTIA A+ certification - mandatory
Strong hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
Windows OS experience
Experience with IPMI
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in a physical data center environment

Preferred:

CompTIA Server+
CCNA/CCENT
PowerShell, Python, or Bash
Linux/PXE experience, * Break fix: 5 years (Preferred)
Server: 2 years (Preferred)
Data Center Technician : 4 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

CompTIA A+ (Preferred)
