Job description
We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Specialist III to support the procurement and vendor management needs of our Information Technology organization. This role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for IT products and services, including software, SaaS solutions, hardware, consulting services, and technology projects. The ideal candidate will partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver cost-effective procurement solutions while ensuring compliance, supplier performance, and operational efficiency., * Manage end-to-end procurement activities for IT products and services.
- Lead sourcing events including RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and supplier evaluations.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance metrics with vendors.
- Review and coordinate contract redlines with legal, cybersecurity, finance, and other internal teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IT suppliers and internal business partners.
- Analyze spending, supplier performance, and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support vendor management, contract compliance, invoice resolution, and change order processes.
- Develop total cost of ownership (TCO) and cost-benefit analyses to support procurement decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supplier management processes.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of procurement, sourcing, contract management, or supply chain experience.
- Experience negotiating contracts for technology products and services.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business analysis tools.
