IT Procurement Analyst

The Analyst is responsible for leading software and IT services sourcing, contract negotiations, vendor governance, and renewal optimization. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance commercial outcomes, reduce waste, and enable data-driven procurement decisions. Responsibilities:

• Lead IT procurement activities including RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, contract negotiations, and renewals
• Manage a portfolio of software, SaaS, cloud, and IT service vendors
• Analyze software usage, licensing, and renewal pipelines to optimize cost and eliminate duplication
• Collaborate with IT, Legal, Finance, Security, and Privacy teams on vendor evaluations and approvals
• Review pricing models, SLAs, and commercial terms to improve value and reduce risk
• Use data analysis and AI-enabled tools to support contract review, reporting, and decision-making

• 6+ years of experience in IT software/SaaS procurement, sourcing, and contract negotiation
• Strong knowledge of software licensing models and cloud pricing structures
• Experience leading competitive solicitations and complex vendor negotiations
• Strong financial, analytical, and cost-optimization skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in vendor management best practices
• Background in public or private sector procurement
• Familiarity with AI tools, software evaluation, and vendor risk review
• Procurement certifications are a plus, but not required
