Experienced Telecommunications Technician

• Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment and systems, including Data cabling, Telephony, IT, CCTV, and Access Control Systems
• Conduct field service operations to troubleshoot and resolve issues with low voltage wiring and cabling.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform installations and repairs according to schematics and design specifications.
• Collaborate with clients to assess their needs for system design and implementation of remote access software solutions.
• Provide technical support for computer networking, ensuring seamless connectivity across various devices.
• Maintain knowledge of industry standards such as NEC regulations to ensure compliance during installations.
• Work with mechanical components and sensors to integrate alarm systems effectively.
• Assist in alarm system sales by providing technical insights and recommendations to potential clients.
• Document all service activities accurately for reporting purposes.

• Proven experience as a service technician in telecommunications or related fields.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware and networking principles.
• Background in construction is advantageous for installation tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics related to electrical systems and telecommunications setups.
