Systems Engineer

• Develop detailed test plans and procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and resources are available.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, architectures, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Candidate will be responsible for requirements derivation, requirements traceability, systems integration & test, performance verification.
• Candidate will be responsible for coordinating and/or conducting system performance modelling.
• Coordinate and conduct system integration testing to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Document findings, generate test reports, and present results to stakeholders.
• Presenting engineering material in life cycle design reviews.
• Support test events at multiple test event sites.
• Candidate will be responsible for Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design.
• Candidate will play an active role in troubleshooting system level failures amongst a diverse team of engineers and technicians.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components into a cohesive system.
• Support test events at multiple test event sites.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
• 9+ yrs. experience with BS/BA
• 7+ yrs. experience with MS/MA
• 4+ yrs. experience with PhD

Nice to Have:

• Jama for Requirements and Test Management
• Ability to write scripts for test automation and data analysis
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools like Agile, Scrum
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, such as MIL-STD, MIL-HDBK, ISO, ASME

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team designing, building, and testing electro-optical mechanical stabilized systems. The Systems Engineer will execute multiple aspects of the systems engineering discipline, to include requirements decomposition into software/hardware functions, system performance analysis and trade studies, oversight of software/hardware development and system integration and test activities to ensure system requirements closure. The Systems Engineer will interact with the development teams, production teams, program leadership, and customer regarding technical considerations, risks, and issue closure associated with our programs capabilities. This position is based in our Healdsburg, CA office and is classified as a full-time, exempt, non-supervisory position.
