Job description

  • Leading day-to-day operations of the Security Operations and Intelligence Centre, ensuring smooth delivery and service continuity
  • Supervising a dynamic team, providing ongoing coaching, support, and task delegation
  • Championing our core values of Safety, Courtesy, and Efficiency in all decisions and communications
  • Inducting and onboarding new team members, ensuring they are confident and equipped for success
  • Managing internal communications, liaising with security teams across the UK and coordinating with external stakeholders
  • Responding to incidents and operational challenges quickly and effectively
  • Ensuring accurate and timely data entry, reporting, and documentation
  • Applying problem-solving skills to support clients, officers, and internal departments
  • Driving performance and standards, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability within the team

Requirements

Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, * Proven leadership experience - ideally in an operational or control room environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - able to lead teams and liaise professionally with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and think clearly in fast-moving situations
  • Excellent IT and administrative skills, with solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and other systems
  • Strong team-player mindset with the ability to motivate and support others
  • SIA and CCTV Licences - desirable but not essential
  • A solution-focused attitude - with confidence to make decisions and own outcomes
  • A high level of professionalism, reliability, and organisational awareness
