Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior Technician - Infrastructure to join their IT Department in Chelmsford. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery and support of IT infrastructure across the Trust, ensuring the highest levels of performance, reliability, and security in a busy healthcare environment.

You will play a key role in maintaining and improving IT systems, supporting projects, and working collaboratively with colleagues to meet the Trust’s operational and technological objectives., * Provide expert technical support for IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems.

  • Maintain and monitor IT services to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Participate in IT projects, upgrades, and system implementations.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, incident resolution, and problem management.
  • Support compliance with IT policies, standards, and NHS guidance.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical support?, Essential:

  • Experience in infrastructure support within a complex IT environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of servers, networking, and IT systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in NHS or healthcare IT environments.
  • Relevant technical certifications.
