Server Engineer

• Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
• Manage Active Directory users, groups, and Group Policies.
• Build and support virtual servers using VMware vCenter.
• Support Windows desktop operating systems, including legacy versions.
• Install and maintain server hardware, storage, and related infrastructure.
• Configure applications on workstations and servers with vendors.
• Use monitoring and security tools such as SCCM, Splunk, Carbon Black, or similar platforms.
• Troubleshoot server, network, and infrastructure issues.
• Manage IT tickets using ServiceNow or similar ITSM systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and non-IT business users.
• Support IT infrastructure projects and laboratory systems.

This is an onsite role where you will support Windows servers, Active Directory, virtual servers, and IT systems used in laboratory operations. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on infrastructure experience, and the ability to work independently and with business users., * 2+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure or Server Engineering.

• Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server, including legacy and current versions.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Group Policies.
• Experience building virtual servers in VMware vCenter.
• Experience with Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Knowledge of SCCM, Splunk, Carbon Black, McAfee, or similar tools.
• Strong server and network troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
• Ability to install and handle server hardware and storage equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision., * Experience working in regulated industries such as:

• Experience supporting laboratory equipment and IT systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
