Job description

Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite, with up to 6 remote weeks per year subject to manager approval, We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead, Architecture - Enterprise Risk Delivery to provide architectural leadership across a portfolio of enterprise risk technology initiatives.

This is a Director-level individual contributor position responsible for designing and governing enterprise-scale technology solutions supporting Financial Risk, Non-Financial Risk, Financial Crimes, and Regulatory Compliance functions.

The successful candidate will lead solution architecture across complex business domains while partnering closely with engineering, data, product, security, architecture, and business stakeholders. The role will play a key part in enterprise modernization initiatives, including cloud transformation, distributed systems, platform engineering, and Generative AI adoption., Enterprise Solution Architecture

  • Design secure, scalable, enterprise-level solution architectures.
  • Define architectural blueprints, technology strategies, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
  • Ensure enterprise platforms are scalable, maintainable, resilient, and secure.
  • Provide architectural governance across complex technology programs.

Technical Leadership

  • Provide technical leadership across engineering, architecture, and product teams.
  • Guide technical direction and influence key architectural decisions.
  • Conduct architecture and design reviews.
  • Mentor engineering and architecture teams.
  • Balance innovation, delivery speed, scalability, and technical debt.
  • Remain actively involved in architectural problem-solving and technical decision-making.

Enterprise Risk Technology

  • Design and deliver technology solutions supporting Financial Risk, Non-Financial Risk, Financial Crimes, and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Enable enterprise data integration, reporting, and risk analytics.
  • Support regulatory and compliance requirements through modern technology platforms.
  • Work with business and technology stakeholders to translate complex risk requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Cloud and Modern Engineering

  • Architect cloud-native enterprise solutions.
  • Lead modernization initiatives across distributed enterprise systems.
  • Drive API-first and microservices-based architecture strategies.
  • Support enterprise platform engineering and DevOps initiatives.
  • Contribute to enterprise AI and Generative AI strategies and implementations.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with senior business leaders to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture, security, engineering, data, product, and infrastructure teams.
  • Present technical recommendations clearly to executive and senior-level stakeholders.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and determine their suitability for enterprise use.
  • Influence technology strategy across multiple business and technical domains.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s Degree preferred., * Minimum 10 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or senior technical leadership.
  • Approximately 15 years or more of overall technology experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale enterprise architecture initiatives.
  • Experience working within a highly regulated industry such as financial services, banking, mortgage, insurance, or healthcare.

Experience with Generative AI or enterprise AI solutions is highly desirable., The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced enterprise architect who combines strategic architecture leadership with strong technical depth.

They will have successfully led architecture across complex enterprise environments and possess significant experience designing cloud-native solutions, preferably using AWS.

The successful candidate should be comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor, influencing executives and senior stakeholders while remaining close enough to engineering to guide architectural decisions, mentor technical teams, and solve complex technology challenges.

Experience within financial services or another highly regulated environment is strongly preferred.

Candidates should also demonstrate experience with modern software engineering practices, APIs, microservices, distributed systems, DevOps, cloud modernization, and emerging technologies such as Generative AI.

Benefits & conditions

Compensation: $210,000 - $230,000 base salary plus annual bonus. Approximate total compensation of $250,000 - $280,000 depending on experience., * 401(k)
