The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for delivering technology products and enterprise implementations across START’s clinical research operations. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Business Relationship and Delivery, this role manages the requirements, planning, and execution of assigned product initiatives from inception through go-live. The Product Manager engages directly with clinical, operations, and IT stakeholders to gather and document requirements, manage backlogs, coordinate delivery teams, and ensure that implementations are completed on time, within scope, and deliver intended value. This role is expected to operate with a high degree of initiative and ownership, with opportunity to grow into broader product responsibilities over time., * Manage the full delivery lifecycle for assigned products and implementations, from requirements gathering through launch and initial post-go-live support.
- Engage with stakeholders across clinical, operations, and IT teams to gather, document, and validate detailed business and functional requirements.
- Develop and maintain project plans, delivery timelines, and status reports for assigned initiatives and implementations.
- Coordinate with technology teams, vendors, and implementation partners to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Track and communicate project progress, risks, and issues; escalate blockers and cross-team dependencies to the Sr. Director of Business Relationship and Delivery as appropriate.
- Ensure that user acceptance testing (UAT) is planned, coordinated, and completed prior to go-live; obtain stakeholder sign-off on deliverables.
- Support change management and adoption activities including training coordination, user communications, and documentation.
- Produce dashboards, metrics, and status updates for stakeholder review.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of product and delivery standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, IT project management, or technology delivery.
- Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting requirements and managing backlogs in a cross-functional environment.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in creating status reports, dashboards, and project documentation.
- Experience with project and product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience in clinical research, oncology, life sciences, or a regulated healthcare environment preferred.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or equivalent certification preferred.
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt or other process improvement certification preferred.
Physical and Travel Requirements
- Approximately 80% of time is spent sitting.
- Very fast-paced and ever-changing healthcare environment.
- Demanding deadlines and time frames.
- Constant demand for updating knowledge.
Benefits & conditions
This is a remote role. The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $125,000.
