What You’ll Do

As a Software Asset Management Analyst, you’ll support the day-to-day processes that help ensure software assets are managed efficiently, requests are handled effectively, and governance standards are maintained across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Review software application requests to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and approved technologies
  • Manage and respond to ServiceNow tickets related to software requests, access requests, licensing inquiries, and SAM processes
  • Support software governance activities, including intake, evaluation, approval routing, and tracking of software requests
  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the enterprise software catalog
  • Analyze and validate software-related data to support operational decision-making and compliance efforts
  • Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and end users to provide timely and accurate support
  • Help improve Software Asset Management processes, workflows, and tools
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure software requests are processed in accordance with established procedures
  • Support software lifecycle management and application governance initiatives, * Experience supporting enterprise Software Asset Management programs
  • Knowledge of software request and approval workflows
  • Experience maintaining software catalogs or application inventories
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence

Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in Software Asset Management, IT Service Management, IT Asset Management, or a related IT operations role
  • Experience working within ServiceNow ITSM
  • Exposure to software governance, software asset management, or application portfolio management processes
  • Familiarity with software licensing concepts, software contracts, entitlements, and software compliance practices
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze, validate, and interpret data
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams, * Are you currently authorized to work in the United States and able to work for any employer without current or future visa sponsorship, visa transfer, or employment authorization support?
  • Do you have experience with Software Asset Management (SAM)?
