At Willmott Dixon, we are growing our team and have an exciting opportunity for a Document Controller to support our design team and work from our office based in Bristol, on a hybrid basis.
As an Information Controller you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the companyās documentation processes, ensuring all documents are properly stored, distributed, and easily accessible. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Maintain meticulous control over all construction-related documentation.
- Organise and manage document workflows, ensuring timely distribution and retrieval of documents.
- Implement and enforce company document management protocols and procedures.
- Communication liaison for the site teams, facilitating document handover processes.
- Manage virtual containers within the Common Data Environment (CDE) for document storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
- Provide support for Viewpoint for Projects and Dalux, ensuring their effective use by project teams.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of project documentation.
- Train and support project team members, including supply chain partners, in document control processes and tools.
- Travel to site as required.
- Support wider Document Control team.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Strong administrative background
- Good Microsoft Office skills and database management experience
- Experience with Viewpoint 4Project, Dalux, or similar system.
- Full UK Driving License
Desirable Criteria
- Previous construction experience
