Job description

Design and support Microsoft Azure cloud environments
Build highly available, scalable and secure infrastructure platforms
Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation solutions
Manage cloud networking, security, identity and access management
Monitor system performance, availability and reliability
Support disaster recovery, backup and business continuity planning
Drive security improvements and cloud governance initiatives
Optimise cloud spend and infrastructure performance
Produce technical documentation, standards and operational procedures
Collaborate with infrastructure, operations and security teams on strategic projects

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments
Knowledge of cloud security and governance best practices
Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of networking principles including DNS, VPNs and virtual networking
Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux server environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with Azure Landing Zones, Infrastructure as Code, Fortinet technologies, PowerShell, Python or Bash scripting, Azure Monitor and cloud monitoring tools, or multi-site or international enterprise environments would be advantageous but is not essential
