The Role
You’ll install, maintain and repair multifunction printers and photocopiers at customer sites, working primarily with Toshiba e-STUDIO devices.
This role suits an established copier engineer who can independently diagnose faults, complete repairs and deliver a professional service. Your work will combine breakdown response, preventative maintenance, equipment installations and connectivity support.
The business welcomes candidates based in West Yorkshire or the Midlands. Travel to customer sites and attendance at the Leeds office will form part of the role, with coverage arrangements discussed during the recruitment process.

- Carry out preventative maintenance to keep equipment reliable and minimise downtime.
- Install and configure devices, including print drivers, network connectivity, scan-to-email and scan-to-folder.
- Manage your service calls, prioritising workload to meet agreed response times.
- Help customers understand device features and resolve day-to-day operating queries.
- Record repairs, parts usage and service activity accurately.
- Maintain appropriate stock of parts and consumables.
- Identify potential equipment upgrades or additional service requirements and pass these to the sales team.
- Keep your product knowledge current through manufacturer training.
Requirements
- Substantial hands-on experience servicing and repairing photocopiers or multifunction printers.
- The ability to handle customer service calls independently from the outset.
- Strong mechanical and electromechanical fault-finding skills.
- Working knowledge of IP addressing, SMTP, SMB and print driver configuration.
- A professional, approachable manner and strong customer communication skills.
- Good organisation and the ability to manage your own workload.
- A full UK driving licence.
Toshiba e-STUDIO experience and manufacturer training are strongly preferred. Experienced engineers working with other manufacturers, including Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Canon, Kyocera or Sharp, may also be considered.
Experience with PaperCut or Equitrac would be an advantage.
