Job description

Insight Global is seeking a TS Network Administrator to sit in San Antonio, TX. This is an opportunity to join a highly technical team that values strong networking fundamentals and advanced troubleshooting skills over product-specific experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, Layer 3 networking, routing and switching, OSPF, and BGP in a complex enterprise environment. In this role, you will monitor and maintain network infrastructure, troubleshoot sophisticated network issues, support security initiatives, and participate in network engineering projects. This is not a traditional ticket-escalation NOC position. The team is looking for individuals who understand network architecture, can think critically through problems, and are comfortable working in a highly customized environment. While Palo Alto firewalls are utilized, the team is willing to train candidates who possess strong networking expertise and a proven ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Requirements

Active TS Clearance (TS/SCI preferred; SCI can be processed) Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570/8750 IAT Level II Certification Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Strong Layer 3 networking knowledge Experience with routing and switching Hands-on configuration of Cisco routers and switches Experience with OSPF and BGP CLI experience supporting network devices Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience monitoring network availability, performance, and security AWS experience

Benefits & conditions

Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000, commensurate on experience.
