Sr. Software Engineer, Core Services Engineering

Do you have experience in REST?, We are looking for an experienced software engineer with experience in building backend services. This position will support ownership related applications, which includes supercharging, robotaxi, charging roaming, upgrades, subscriptions, tesla electric, tesla external APIs, AI agents and other tesla for business workflows. This is a backend engineering team focused on building distributed systems to power customer-facing interfaces including mobile apps, vehicles, and third-party platforms., * The position demands a self-motivated individual with strong technical and communication skills who can contribute in a cross-functional team environment

• You will be passionate about building the services, frameworks and tools for validating core components that are part of the platform
• Be nimble and react quickly to changing business conditions and priorities and leverage your existing skills while learning and implementing new technologies
• Provide technical leadership, driving and performing engineering best practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wide critical programs

What You’ll Bring

• Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline with 4+ years of experience
• Solid experience in one of the following languages Java, .NET, Golang
• Strong infrastructure experience. Experience in distributed systems and a good understanding of its fundamentals
• Database experience (MySQL, SQL Server) and good knowledge in query optimization
• Expert knowledge of REST APIs and Microservice architecture, experience with Docker and Kubernetes; Queue processing experience (Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• You are open-minded to discuss various technical approaches and able to drive consensus across various stakeholders.
