Scrum Master

Join a dynamic, large-scale enterprise environment as a Scrum Master supporting multiple Agile software development teams. In this highly visible, hybrid role, you’ll serve as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator, driving delivery excellence while helping shape the organization’s Agile transformation. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, foster continuous improvement, and play a pivotal role in delivering business-critical solutions. This contract offers exposure to enterprise-level projects, career growth potential, and the opportunity to make a significant impact., Facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives for 2-3 development teams.

• Coach teams in Scrum principles, Agile best practices, and continuous improvement strategies.
• Proactively identify and remove impediments to ensure teams remain focused and productive.
• Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Track team commitments, monitor progress, and address risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Support backlog refinement, estimation, and planning activities for optimal workflow.
• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and achievements to leadership and business partners.
• Guide teams through conflict resolution and foster a collaborative, solution-oriented culture.
• Assist with requirements gathering, process documentation, and project planning as needed.
• Support quality assurance, testing efforts, and defect remediation planning.
• Protect teams from distractions and help prioritize work to align with organizational goals.
• Drive adoption of Agile practices, tailoring approaches to fit the organization’s current Agile maturity.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or related field

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile delivery role
• Proven experience supporting Agile software development teams within a large enterprise
• Deep understanding of Scrum frameworks, Agile methodologies, and software development lifecycle
• Skilled in facilitating Agile ceremonies and driving team accountability
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
• Practical experience in project planning, scope management, scheduling, and risk management
• Skilled in conflict resolution, team facilitation, and influencing without direct authority
• Ability to work onsite in St. Louis, MO as needed (hybrid arrangement)

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously
