Senior IT Project Manager

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including detailed scope, schedule, budget, resources, risk, and communication strategies.
• Define project objectives, deliverables, and milestones in partnership with business and technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors to drive timely and successful project execution.
• Monitor project performance, track progress, and ensure rapid escalation and resolution of issues and risks.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, lead project meetings, and deliver executive-level status reports.
• Manage project scope changes through formal change control and ensure compliance with governance and procurement policies.
• Oversee vendor performance, contract deliverables, and ensure adherence to DPS, state procurement, and FAST contract requirements.
• Support project documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks throughout the project lifecycle.

8+ years managing large-scale, complex IT or business transformation projects in structured environments

• Strong command of project management methodologies such as PMI/PMBOK, Agile, or Hybrid
• Proven experience in project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning
• Expertise in stakeholder management across technical and business units
• Advanced skills in risk management, issue tracking, and change control
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, including executive reporting
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira)

• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with governance, policies, and procurement requirements Preferred Skills

• Experience in public sector or state government environments, especially public safety or law enforcement agencies
• Familiarity with state procurement frameworks such as FAST or DIR contracts
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent
• IT system implementation or enterprise application management experience
