Information Technology - SAP Security Specialist

Join our dynamic IT team as a SAP Security Specialist, where you’ll play a mission-critical role in safeguarding enterprise SAP environments. Leverage your deep expertise in SAP BASIS Security to design, implement, and maintain robust security solutions across on-premise and cloud SAP platforms. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge SAP technologies, collaborate with high-performing teams, and directly impact organizational compliance and data protection strategies., Architect, implement, and administer SAP security frameworks across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, MDG, GTS, Solution Manager, Ariba, and SuccessFactors.

• Design and maintain SAP roles, profiles, and authorization objects, ensuring effective segregation of duties (SoD) and compliance controls.
• Lead the end-to-end user provisioning process, including SSO integration, password policies, and access reviews.
• Customize and maintain Fiori authorizations, managing security for both frontend and backend OData services.
• Monitor system logs, respond to security incidents, and perform root-cause analysis for breaches or policy violations.
• Collaborate with IT, audit, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical deliverables and enforce security best practices.
• Manage SAP GRC modules (Access Control, Process Control), and produce audit-ready documentation and compliance reports.
• Automate security administration tasks and reporting through scripting and SAP tools.
• Deliver end-user and administrator training on SAP security protocols.

15 years’ hands-on experience in SAP security administration, with deep knowledge of SAP authorizations, NetWeaver, S/4HANA, and Fiori Security.

• Demonstrated expertise with SAP Basis administration, user and role management, and SAP GRC.
• Proficiency in SAP Authorization Management (SU01, PFCG, SU24, SU53, ST01), SAP GRC (ARA, BRM, EAM), and transport management.
• Experience in implementing SoD controls, compliance frameworks (GDPR, SOX, ISO 27001), and producing audit documentation.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform, SAP BTP security, and Identity Access Management tools.
• Basic ABAP debugging and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Proven project management abilities in Agile or Waterfall environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ServiceNow or similar incident management tools.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP Fiori Security Administration (Catalogs, Groups, Spaces, Pages).
• Exposure to advanced vulnerability management and patch coordination.
• In-depth understanding of SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba, and SAP BTP.
• Strong track record in user training and cross-functional collaboration.
