Middleware Automation Engineer

• Utilize Splunk and Ansible Tower for log analysis, root cause identification, and workflow troubleshooting
• Review tickets, gather essential information, and assess impact across jobs and automated workflows
• Troubleshoot automation, configuration, and provisioning issues to minimize downtime
• Determine root causes, whether technical bugs, process gaps, documentation issues, or configuration errors
• Resolve incidents swiftly and implement preventative measures to strengthen system stability
• Partner with engineering teams to enhance platform automation, reliability, and performance

Hands-on expertise with Ansible Tower for automation and configuration management

• Strong proficiency in Splunk for log analysis and monitoring
• Experience using Jira for ticket management and workflow tracking
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and deconstruct complex orchestrated workflows
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JBoss, Tomcat, or IBM WebSphere (WAS)
• Middleware administration and support background
• Advanced automation and configuration management expertise, Ansible tower Splunk
