Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Network Support Engineer L1 to monitor, support, and maintain our core network infrastructure and daily IT operations. In this role, you will act as the vital link between end-users, system administrators, and infrastructure teams, ensuring maximum uptime, fast incident resolution, and strict adherence to network security protocols and industry standards., * Network Monitoring & Incident Management: Perform daily network checks, monitor system health, log support tickets, and resolve Tier 1 network connectivity and hardware issues. \n

  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and DNS/DHCP issues; perform basic router and switch configuration updates; escalate complex network outages promptly to L2/L3 engineering teams. \n

  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate network topology diagrams, device inventories, and standard operating procedures (SOPs); ensure compliance with IT security policies and data governance standards. \n

  • Technical Support: Assist internal employees and clients with network access, onboarding, and connectivity troubleshooting across hybrid workplace environments. \n

  • Vendor & Asset Coordination: Serve as a point of contact for ISP vendor ticketing, hardware dispatch, and third-party technical support during network maintenance windows. \n

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Required). \n

  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in network administration, IT helpdesk, or technical support environments. \n

  • Technical Skills (Required): \n

  • Strong foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, routing/switching concepts, Subnetting, and VPNs. \n

  • Familiarity with network diagnostics tools (Ping, Traceroute, Wireshark, Putty)., * Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and technical writing skills.

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ certification (or active preparation). \n

  • Basic knowledge of cloud networking concepts (AWS/Azure) or firewall configurations. \n

  • Experience with ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, Remedy). \n
