Job description
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for IBM DataStage ETL applications.
- Monitor daily ETL batch jobs and ensure successful completion within defined SLAs.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, job failures, and data discrepancies.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.
- Monitor data loads, file transfers, scheduler jobs, and downstream system integrations.
- Coordinate with business users, application teams, database administrators, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
- Support release deployments, production migrations, and post-implementation validations.
- Handle service requests, incident tickets, problem tickets, and change requests in accordance with ITIL processes.
- Develop and maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, support documentation, and knowledge articles.
Requirements
Primary Skill: IBM DataStage, Oracle, SQL
Preferred: UI -Linux shell script, Autosys
Experience: Minimum 10 years
