Cognos Developer

• Develop, maintain, and enhance IBM Cognos reports, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Build and maintain Cognos Framework Manager models and dimensional data structures.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries across relational databases.
• Support Cognos deployments, lifecycle management, and promotion across environments.
• Configure Cognos security and support LDAP/Active Directory integration.
• Develop and maintain TM1/IBM Planning Analytics models and TurboIntegrator (TI) processes as needed.

• IBM Cognos Analytics 11/12, Report Studio, and Framework Manager.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and data warehousing.
• Cognos deployment, environment promotion, and security configuration.
• TM1/IBM Planning Analytics and TI process development highly preferred.

Experience:

• 9+ years of hands-on IBM Cognos development experience.
• Experience developing enterprise reporting solutions and working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with Cognos lifecycle management and multi-environment deployments.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
