Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM Cognos Analytics / Cognos BI.
  • Experience with Cognos Report Studio and Framework Manager.
  • Strong SQL development experience.
  • Experience working with relational databases and data warehouse environments.
  • Experience developing complex reports, dashboards, prompts, filters, and drill-through functionality.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, reporting structures, and business intelligence concepts.
  • Experience with report performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Cognos Analytics 11.x.
  • Experience with Cognos Administration and report deployment.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or other enterprise databases.
  • Familiarity with other BI and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience working in large enterprise or financial services environments.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
