Job description

• You will own mechanical design projects, develop bearing components and assemblies, create engineering drawings, solve manufacturing problems, develop tooling, and support new product launches., * Design precision bearing components and assemblies.
• Translate customer requirements into manufacturable designs.
• Improve machining, stamping, tooling, and assembly processes.
• Create engineering drawings using GD&T.
• Develop manufacturing plans, work instructions, and engineering changes.
• Support tooling development and production launches.
• Lead projects from concept through production.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Tool Room, Quality, Sales, and customers.
• Drive improvements in cost, quality, efficiency, and manufacturability.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands on mechanical design and manufacturing engineering experience.
• Precision mechanical component design experience.
• Strong machining, metal stamping, tooling, and assembly knowledge.
• Strong engineering drawing, GD&T skills and AutoCAD or SolidWorks experience.

• Working knowledge of DFMA and manufacturing processes.

• Bearing experience is a plus, but not required.This is a hands on opportunity to own designs, solve real manufacturing problems, and see your work become finished products.
