Software Developers

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards., The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs supporting enterprise applications.
2. Implement event-driven services using Kafka and develop efficient database models and queries with Hibernate and PostgreSQL.
3. Ensure backend application security, scalability, performance, and reliability while implementing unit and integration tests.
4. Collaborate with frontend developers, participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and code reviews, troubleshoot integration issues, and maintain technical documentation.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

Experience in Java backend development, Spring Boot, REST API development, microservices, event-driven architecture, relational databases, and automated unit and integration testing.

Technical Skills

Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, Apache Kafka, Hibernate ORM, PostgreSQL, Git, JUnit/Mockito, Agile/Scrum

Business / Domain Skills

1. Experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications that support complex business processes through scalable backend services, API integrations, and event-driven workflows.
2. Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting government programs.
3. Experience supporting enterprise data management and transaction processing, including relational data models, business data validation, system integrations, and reliable information exchange across interconnected applications.
4. Experience collaborating with frontend developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams in Agile environments to translate business requirements into application functionality, resolve integration issues, and deliver secure, reliable enterprise solutions.

Communication

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements., 1. Strong experience developing scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

1. Knowledge of event-driven architecture, database optimization, and automated testing practices.
