Job description

The Data Lake Platform team provides the secure and self-service foundation for all data at MOIA. We build and operate the central data infrastructure that enables teams to ingest, store, access, and manage data in a compliant and cost-efficient way. Our platform powers everything from product and operational metrics to large-scale unstructured data streams from autonomous driving systems.

By combining automation, governance, and scalable AWS technologies, we make sure MOIA’s data is always trusted, fresh, and privacy-compliant, empowering 25+ teams to build data-driven products with full ownership of their data lifecycle.

What you will do

  • Develop data ingestion, transformation, and access layers using Apache Spark, Iceberg, and AWS services such as Lambda, and S3.
  • Develop scalable workflow automation improving our CI/CD pipelines.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and TypeScript.
  • Support the management and maintenance of SageMaker Unified Studio.
  • Work hands-on with the newest AI-Tools and enable others to use them even more productively., Are you curious, motivated, and eager to learn? So are we! Requirements

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * You are currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • To support your personal development and for you to take ownership of projects and processes, you should be enrolled for at least one year.
  • Effective communication skills and interest in being part of a highly autonomous team.
  • We want to act and grow as a team. Collaborating via pair programming, sharing knowledge, and communicating effectively should be something you value in your day-to-day work.
  • Programming skills in Python. Knowledge of the Typescript ecosystem.
  • The ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Professional-level English.
  • Familiarity working with data or AWS Cloud is a plus.
