Job description

Join us as part-time Analytical Scientist (m/f/d) in the HMO Product Analytics and DSP Optimization department at our production site in Rheinbreitbach. In the HMO Product Analytics and DSP Optimization department, we develop new analytical methods, isolate new products, optimize our downstream processes, and continuously advance them. In your position you will focus on the analysis of our products and the development of our analytical capabilities.

In this role, you will make an impact by supporting the team with:

  • Development and validation of analytical methods
  • Preparation and maintenance of SOPs
  • Provision of analytical support for DSP, upstream, commercial, regulatory, and R&D activities
  • HMO analysis in various matrices
  • Documentation management and experimental design
  • Planning and execution of synthesis, isolation, and purification of by-products
  • Planning and production of analytical standards

Requirements

Do you have experience in Communication skills?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * A master’s degree in chemistry or analytical chemistry

  • Experience (industrial or academic) HPLC analysis and chemical synthesis
  • Initial or advanced skills in process analytics, process automation and data science are also an advantage
  • Self-motivation, scientific curiosity and reliability, as well as the willingness to complete projects within the given timeframe, are required
  • Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken - in German and English
  • A can-do attitude and a proactive mindset characterize you
