System Engineer

The Systems Administrator is responsible for Tier 2 support across server, network, and endpoint environments. This role manages server infrastructure, virtualization, backups, security patching, Active Directory administration, system imaging, hardware deployments, and network troubleshooting. The position supports both corporate and manufacturing operations and participates in infrastructure projects while serving in a 24/7 Tier 2 on-call rotation.

5+ years of server administration experience 5+ years of networking experience Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments Active Directory administration Hyper-V administration Failover Clustering experience Azure experience VMware experience Experience supporting and troubleshooting server and network infrastructure Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Associate’s degree and/or relevant technical training Veeam backup and recovery experience Endpoint management experience Linux administration experience Information Security experience or exposure Microsoft certifications Server and networking certifications Experience with KACE K1000 and K2000 Manufacturing environment experience
