Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Architect / Technology Leader for a hybrid position (3 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC; Pennington, NJ or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is a core member of the Global Capital Markets Technology team, responsible for the development and support of key applications. The successful candidate will act as a primary architect and hands-on technology leader for one or more initiatives, requiring strong analytical skills and deep technical expertise to design, develop, and troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery and development of one or more initiatives
• Act as the primary architect and hands-on technology leader
• Dive into technical details including design, development, and troubleshooting of complex issues
• Define and evaluate problems to design effective solutions
• Develop and support various applications, including hands-on design, architecting, and development of solutions
• Interact with senior business partners and senior technology management
• Develop clean and progressively enhanced code for complex enterprise applications

• 10+ years of total experience with at least 7+ years of hands-on core Java experience
• 2+ years of user interface development experience using Angular 5+
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting
• Middle tier development experience with Webservices, Apache or Weblogic
• Proficiency with HTML/DHTML, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• 5+ years of backend database development experience (Oracle preferred)
• Very strong communication skills

• Financial sector experience
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• 5+ years of Angular experience
• 3+ years of Tableau experience
• Front end development with Angular, Javascript, JSP, HTML/DHTML, Ajax
