Field Service Dispatcher

Cox Automotive is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to efficiently schedule and route field technicians supporting our telecommunications and media solutions. In this role, you will manage incoming service requests, prioritize work orders, and coordinate daily dispatch using digital tools and telematics platforms. You’ll communicate with technicians, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of installs, maintenance, and repairs, while updating systems with accurate status information and documentation. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily routes for field technicians across assigned regions
• Monitor incoming service requests and prioritize work orders based on SLAs and customer impact
• Use dispatch, routing, and telematics tools to optimize schedules and reduce travel time
• Communicate with technicians, customers, and internal teams to confirm appointments and updates
• Track job progress, update tickets, and maintain accurate records in work order systems
• Escalate service issues or delays and collaborate with operations leaders to resolve them
• Analyze dispatch data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for efficiency
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Cox Automotive’s people-first culture
