Junior computer technician

• Assemble, test, diagnose, and troubleshoot computer/server hardware.
• Identify and isolate hardware or software issues.
• Perform basic repairs and component replacements.
• Work with Windows and Linux systems.
• Document repairs, fixes, and test results.
• Follow technical procedures and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Technical schooling such as Lincoln Tech, PC AGE, NPower, etc.
• Completed technical certification such as CompTIA A+ / Network+.
• Relevant Associate degree in IT or related field.
• OR 2+ years of relevant hardware repair/troubleshooting experience if there is no technical education.

Additional requirements:

• Recent graduates within 6 months can be considered without work experience if relevant coursework is shown.
• Otherwise, 1+ year of experience in hardware repair/assembly, helpdesk, or IT support.
• Hands-on knowledge of computer hardware and assembly.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux.
• Familiarity with MS Office; Excel preferred.
• Good communication, organization, multitasking, and documentation skills., * Do you have reliable transportation for your daily commute?
• Do you have technical schooling from Lincoln Tech, PC AGE, NPower etc?

Experience:

• hardware troubleshooting : 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CompTIA A+ (Preferred)
