Data Analyst

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key performance metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Perform data extraction, transformation (ETL), and loading processes utilizing SQL, Python, Talend, Bash scripts, and other data analytics tools to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Conduct database design and query management within SQL Server, Oracle, and other SQL databases to support efficient data retrieval.
• Analyze large datasets for trends, patterns, and insights using Excel data analysis techniques and R programming language.
• Support the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by participating in analysis, testing, deployment, and maintenance of data systems within Agile project management frameworks.
• Develop comprehensive documentation including data models using Visio, technical specifications, and process workflows to facilitate ongoing system improvements.
• Engage in requirements analysis for new projects or enhancements by working closely with business analysts and project managers.
• Maintain a strong understanding of business intelligence best practices while continuously exploring new analytics tools and techniques to enhance reporting capabilities.

• Proven experience in data analysis with strong proficiency in SQL query management and database design principles.
• Hands-on expertise with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for dashboard development and reporting.
• Solid knowledge of ETL processes using Talend or similar tools; experience with Python scripting for data manipulation is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies like Agile for managing analytics projects efficiently from inception to deployment.
• Technical proficiency in R programming language for statistical analysis; experience with VBA or Bash scripting is a plus.
• Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts including linked data integration, data visualization best practices, and requirements analysis.
• Experience working with SQL Server, Oracle databases, or similar platforms; knowledge of database schema design is advantageous.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets using Excel or other analytics tools; excellent analysis skills are essential.
• Effective communication skills for translating technical findings into clear reports or dashboards tailored for diverse audiences.
