Job description
-
You will serve as the primary UX Writer & Content Designer responsible for crafting user-facing language, defining information architecture, and developing scalable content frameworks for two internal web-based tools that guide product teams through compliance workflows. These tools act as “front doors” into complex regulatory journeys for audiences including engineers, legal partners, and product leaders.

This is a high-craft, self-led role where you will own writing and content strategy end-to-end while partnering closely with a dedicated visual designer. Because there is no second writer on this team, strong autonomy, clarity, and execution speed are expected
Responsibilities:

Create clear, concise, user-centered content for internal tools, dashboards, and front-door experiences.
-
Define and optimize information architecture, terminology systems, and scalable content frameworks across complex internal surfaces.
-
Translate highly technical or regulatory concepts into accessible language for varied internal audiences.
-
Partner daily with a UX Designer and Visual Designer; collaborate with Engineering, Research, and cross-functional privacy and legal teams.
-
Contribute to content strategy decisions, including content models, structure, messaging frameworks, and documentation.
-
Work independently with minimal day-to-day oversight, maintaining accountability for deliverables and timelines.
-
Participate in weekly design critiques, planning sessions, and team alignment meetings.
Requirements
-
4+ years experience in UX writing, content design, technical writing, or similar roles.
-
Demonstrated mastery in UX writing craft, content design, plain language, and microcopy for technical products.
-
Strong skills in information architecture and designing content systems for complex workflows.
-
Ability to quickly absorb technical, regulatory, or privacy-related concepts and produce user-friendly messaging.
-
Proven experience partnering with designers and engineers on end-to-end product development.
-
Experience in highly regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, privacy/safety, etc.) is strongly preferred.
